Rick Bonnette first wrote Goon Sharoon as a grade six assignment. That assignment became the first two chapters of this eBook. In 1997, Rick dusted off the assignment and thought he could make something of it. He revised the original story and added some more adventures for his hero. Like his character Goon Sharoon, Rick has done a lot of traveling. He even owned his own travel business for many years. He always had an interest in politics, even at a young age, and served on his town council for many years before launching his successful campaign to serve as Mayor; perhaps he is the inspiration for the small-town Mayor in his eBook? At the time of publication, Rick Bonnette is the Mayor for the Town of Halton Hills, in Ontario, Canada. He hopes that you have as much fun reading The Incredible Adventures of Goon Sharoon as he had writing it.
