Ming Fai Wong is an IT professional, a sports enthusiast, and a freelance writer. When his children were growing up, he would teach them by telling stories. He realized that learning is a lifelong activity – not just reserved for children. As a ‘weekend warrior’, Ming has trained in many endurance sports. He has run marathons, skied 55 km cross-country skiing marathons, biked 24-hour mountain biking races and endured 3-day Adventure Races, which are a combination of biking, canoeing and orienteering over great distances. The long training times and adventures during these races gave him ample opportunity to think about life and what was important.
